Wilmington Residential Internet Coverage

Wilmington is one of the largest metropolitan areas of North Carolina, and its visitors and residents rely on high-speed internet for many business and internet purposes. A select group of national internet service providers are present in Wilmington, North Carolina.

AT&T supplies high-speed DSL service to most of Wilmington, with a service area running from Vineyard Plantation in the north to Tanbridge Park in the south.

In addition, a handful of coastal neighborhoods have cable supplied by Charter. These neighborhoods include Laurel Lea, Porters Neck Plantation, and Bayshore. Charter service is limited to coastal cities in the central part of the city, so service doesn_t stretch far into the northern and southern reaches of the city.

Time Warner Cable has a competitive service area. This provider_s coverage area reaches neighborhoods like Marsh Oaks, Bayshore Estates, Middle Point, Covil Estates, and Lucia Point, as well as far north and far south neighborhoods.

This is the worst internet company you can go with. If you have another option choose it. Stay clear of spectrum.

Price hike of $20 after being a longtime loyal customer. No offers after calling customer support. Their internet speed is not nearly as fast as advertised.

Bill keeps climbing, service keeps declining. Can't even get my comment on here without the internet freezing. Something is going on! Why is the price continuously climbing after two years and the service is terrible (Use to work great). Just want to stream the news uninterrupted.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Pay for upgrades, but never works, then they try to sell you on more products when the what you're already purchasing isn't fixed. "Service" is always slow and/or in and out. You never get a credit on your bill for all the times it fails to work half as much as promised, but they'll raise your prices and sock it to you any chance they get - without advance notice. Also, WHY do they keep shoving home phone services in their bundle? It's 2018!! Improve your current products/services and bundle internet/tv services. Changing your name over and over doesn't fix the horrible reputation you established. Google fiber can't come to town soon enough.

Time Warner Cable Sucks! My internet service is like I have dial-up. I don't understand how they make so much money and have all these ads about their impeccable service, yet I have yet to see it!

Service was good when I started about a year ago. About six months ago, something happened and my service drops all the time. I work from here, so service interruptions can have big business consequences, particularly since my phone depends on wifi for connection (even though I'm right in town). Lately, they have been doing a lot of "scheduled maintenance" during the day. When I called and tweeted and asked - since it is scheduled, can't you let me know when you will do it so when I have a big online presentation I can go somewhere else? Nope, they can't. Nice. I may go back to AT&T. Their connection was slower, but at least it always worked.
