San Jose Residential Internet Coverage
With about one dozen distinct neighborhoods, the city of San Jose covers a widespread area that serves businesses, homes, and retail centers. Depending on where you live in San Jose, you may be able to choose from many different internet service providers.
AT&T, which offers fiber and DSL, covers all of San Jose with its different services. In the northern part of the city, coverage is available as far as North Valley and Berryessa. In the west, service extends to West San Jose and Cambrian Park. Coverage is available in southern neighborhoods like Almaden Valley and Santa Teresa. Eastern neighborhoods in this coverage area are Evergreen and East San Jose.
Frontier Communications currently has a limited presence in San Jose, with service only available in part of North San Jose.
Xfinity has a service area that is similar to AT&T, offering nearly full coverage to San Jose. Part of Almaden Valley in southwestern San Jose and Santa Teresa currently are served by Charter.
The coverage area of Sonic.net spans nearly all of San Jose, with the exception of Almaden Valley and Evergreen.
The western half of San Jose, as well as the northeastern part of the city, is in the service area of New Edge Networks.
Lastly, through Integra Telecom, part of North San Jose enjoys high-speed internet. There are quite a few options for just about anyone in the San Jose area.
