I was a loyal AT&T Gigapower customer for several years. I moved and established non-fiber service at a new address, for which I provided the customer service rep a promo code from a mailer for a Visa gift card. I discussed with the representative that the gift card would offset the installation fee.
After the installation, the installation fee was still charged and another customer service rep informed me I was not eligible for the Visa gift card promotion because it was only applicable to fiber service.
This is textbook bait-and-switch advertising.
I called AT&T support and requested the installation fee be waived. They refused, thus this negative review is being left.
I have had comcst (Xfinity) Internet for over 25 years and TV on and off during that time. I am here to say that this will change once I am out of contract. Horrible Customer Service!!!
Comcast raised my cost while under contract fopr various Items, Set top boxes, Franchise Fee, regional sprts fees and Internet. For those that dont know, there is fine print in the contract that allows them this freedom while you are locked down under mandatory terms.
So I will be done with Comcast or Xfinity forever after this.
This company is not to be trusted.
Comcast / xfinity is junk... reliability is poor, customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. The technicians so not have any respect for their clients.
