Enterprise Residential Internet Coverage

Enterprise is a military town. Civilian residents work in both blue- and white-collar jobs and live in one of the most expensive city's in Alabama. The upper-middle income residents are well-educated as well. They depend on a reliable internet connection to stay in touch with loved ones deployed overseas as well as to advance their careers. Compared with 77% of Alabama overall, only 67% of Enterprise residents have access to high-speed internet.

Time Warner Spectrum reaches 100% of the area with cable internet. CenturyLink provides 94% of residents with DSL connectivity. Fiber optics are also being introduced to the area by Troy Cablevision, Inc. Their services currently reach 66% of residents west of I-84.

In addition to the services offered to residents, 1% of commercial users also have the option to get fiber optics from Level 3 Communications.

I have had Spectrum for 5 1/2yrs. It's never been close to the best internet service i have had but it was the only cable internet available in our area then. Customer service has always been rude. One time we received a really nice guy. Finally there is something else available in our area so we took advantage. Spectrum is charging us a full month's service because our bill renewed two days ago. So they are saying I still have to pay for service up till Aug 12th even though it has been turned off today. They say there is no one there who can help us with this and keep saying their scripts of "I understand you're upset". Customer relationships are dead these days. People do not look out for people anymore and it is sad. I will not recommend a company who does not care for their customers and neither should you!
