A short drive from Alabama's eastern border sits the city of Anniston. This is one of Alabama's fairly large suburban communities, with over 22,000 people calling this city home. Many distinct neighborhoods make up this city, not to mention the various commercial areas in Anniston. A wide range of high speed Internet options are available in Anniston.

A widespread option available to those living in Anniston is AT&T. AT&T is known for offering both DSL and fiber optic options, with DSL more widely accessible in Anniston than fiber optic. Service reaches Pelham Heights in the north, Golden Springs in the south, Peaceburg in the west, and White Plains in the east. AT&T's networks also sprawl across the central part of Anniston.

I requested information by email on the data speed delivered to my home. The answer was that they could not discuss account information with email. I have to assume that is to avoid having the true speed revealed in writing since knowing the true speed reveals nothing related to my account. It does reveal there may be a big difference between what is promised & what is delivered.
